A Bill to Reduce the Gap Between the Standards of Education in Affluent and Impoverished Schools
Be enacted by this Congress that the gap in the standards of education in the affluent and the
impoverished be substantially reduced to rid an obvious inequality right in the heart of America.
Section 1: Students are the future of America. They are the future engineers, doctors, lawyers,
teachers, and political figures. In order to give all students the opportunities to strive, regardless of
the area they were raised in, this Congress plans to push for an equal standard of education all across
America. To reduce the limitations that some students carry through as burdens, and to reduce the gap
between the affluent and the impoverished, the allocation of funds and the reduction of wastes within
the funds should and will be redone.
Section 2: The Federal Government will enforce an overlying standard that establishes all that it
expects out of the cooperation with State Governments. Because the Federal Government cannot seek
focus in every single school in America, the State Government is expected to compensate where
needed what the Federal Government and individual counties cannot do.
Subsection 2a: The Federal Government will enact specific standards that the State Governments
should uphold.
Subsection 2b: The State Governments will handle the more detailed aspects as far as the
allocation of funds, location, supplies, teachers, and other necessary appropriations go. Where the
county governments fall at fault, the State Governments should compensate whatever it takes to
ensure that the students are taught and assessed at the same standards as other schools in
America.
Section 3: A different allocation of current funds will be necessary to support this legislation. Cuts 22 will be made to reduce healthcare spending and will be redistributed to education.
Section 4: This legislation will take effect January 21, 2017 and will serve as a supplement to the
Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA).
Respectfully submitted,
Carson Nizialek
This bill is the number one priority of this administration because we believe that our students are the future of America. In order to give all students equal opportunities to higher and better education, we feel that we really need to emphasize the importance of lessening the differences of standards of education in different areas. America is all about giving its people opportunities to strive, but we often neglect the fact that there is inequality within the walls of American schools.
